This is the apology email that I received from Frankie on February 7th. I don't think it was very sincere.
This has been cc to my attorney so that everyone can see there is no foul language simply an apology that to some is well overdueI am not sure you will all get this as I know I blocked your emails after everything happened. But I want to send a apology to people that I believe I have hurt with my actions. Whether I thought I was right or not I know at my age I could of went about them in a better manner.There isn't ever going to be anything I can say to change what has happened between us. I know I have been hurt also, and you nor I won't easily forget. BUT I will apologize for my part in it all. I don't expect you to accept it, but it is what I feel I should do.I had been under a lot of stress with some personal issues and I took it all out on you. I had people I thought were my friends only to find out that they were not.That was wrong and there IS no excuse. I hope you can accept this as it is truly meant. If I could speak to you in person I would tell you then but I cannot.I had never ran a message board ever and I did it all wrong from the get go. I was to strong handed and I was so afraid that everything would "fall apart" that I never realized that you were all adults and could handle things on your own.I do not ever expect you to believe this but I am sorry, I wish I could turn back hands of a clock.I miss my friendships that I thought I had made. I have only myself to blame. I cannot change what happened between us but I am changing what happens from here on out.I have made great changes to the board and the DT have no contracts and no rules. They come and go as they please and IF they want to post a challenge they do if they don't then I will. or we just won't have one. life will go on.There is no post count even though I truly don't feel 10 is a lot. BUT I removed everything in their contracts.I learned the hard way, but I do think I am learning. Rome wasn't built in a day. God knows I should have done a lot of things different.Just if you can just find it in your soul to maybe not forgive me but to accept this apology I would be pleased.As for going to your blogs, or TSB I swear to you that I will never go to the blogs or TSB and honestly only blogs I ever went to anyways were Jill's, Mindy's, Amy and Vicki's, Lets be honest I am not a big blogger. But I will never look at yours again UNLESS you give me permission to view your talent.I am sorry that things turned out the way they did.And I am doing that now. Please, accept this apology in the way it was written.

Yeah I have to agree with you about not thinking that it was sincere....since just about everything she said she wouldn't do anymore in that letter she has done...and then some!! Think of poor Vel...honor her contract....what a stinking loser!!

IF she had truly done away with all that stuff, this would mean more to me. But it means nothing because she didn't follow through. She was just lieing... surprise, surprise.

After consulting due to some issues that have been made aware to me, I
have chosen to make my board Private. By that I mean I will do as other
boards do, when you register you will send me your address and name so I
can match that info up with your IP.
This is my legal rights to keep the board free from drama.
Also, if your account has not had posts made on it recently and I do not
hear from you by Wednesday March 3rd. your account will be removed. Not
Banned. but removed.
It shows we have 248 members and lets be honest, not all of them post on
the forum.
So its my decision to delete accounts with no inactivity on them.
I will be removing all accts that have less than 50 posts on them unless
you contact me personally from the site.
Also, what is legal on a message board and or Blog and what is not.
It is legal for me to request and seek donations to help cover cost of
shipping, purchasing kits or raks etc. using Paypal as a means of accepting
those. As nobody makes anyone donate to help pay the upkeep of a site. I am
a site that doesn't make profit ie: I do not own a store or business that I
receive money from.
I can request that members pay to promote any business they have as it is
my site. I also can allow members to promote their business if I choose to.
I pay Go Daddy for the username of Making Memories For You it is not
related to the Manufacture MM or Go Daddy would not have allowed me to use
the name.
I pay Web Hosting for the site $95.40 a year Or $166.80 for 2 years.
I also have every right to contact attorneys, police and my State
Representative. That is my right as a citizen, just as you can do the same.
Use of my First and Last name are not allowed by Law. Pretty much anyone
that has joined the board knows my first and last name.
Freedom of Speech is just that, Freedom of Speech. Which in fact means,
that you are free to write anything you choose about me on a blog, buddy
chat, and or emails, and I also am free to say or write anything I choose
about you. I thought this all would go away, seems some people have no
life. They could always join a gym, or take up a hobby.
I also am allowed to look at any Public Blogs and or Sites that are out
there as they are just that Public. So when you have a blog on the internet
then you say folks are looking at it? I have to wonder? What makes you
think you are that important? I don't even keep my own blog up so truly I
have no desire to look at yours.
I feel flattered actually that you still choose to be a member of my board,
and yes we know you are current members as while speaking with the officer
you posted on the blog that I was Threatening folks with the law.... That
is no threat, I have the right to speak to anyone I choose. Just as you
have every right to say your message to anyone that will listen.
I went to a attorney and the local Police, and contacted my State
Representative and all say that while they felt the bog was immature for
adults that it still falls under Freedom of Speech. The police will
continue to check it and if at any time they feel its stepped over the
line, they will then pursue this issue further.
So enjoy your blogging ladies. Who knows, I may just have to take this up
as wow what a great way to release ones stress and all legally of
course....
So, I am sure that once this is all taken care of the rif raf is off the
boards we will resume with what we are here for Scrapbooking and making
small chat.

How can she possibly say that she consulted with (????) [anyone] about this...there is no internet oversight. AND if she actually DID do what she claims and it's not a lie [doubtful] then what kind of gross distortion did she come up with to make herself look like a victim, when in fact, the exact opposite is true? She must think we're all as stupid as .... is (you fill in the blanks...I wouldn't want Deputy Fife or someone to come get me for slander...HA!

ReplyDeleteI've had several types of message boards...don't recall that you can ask for someone's physical address...that's just stupid. IP addresses don't pinpoint your address, just the general location or wherever your IP server is located.
Again, trying to call bluff...she doesn't realize that she's not that smart and we KNOW it!

I would just like to clarify that Teresa Collins conducted the on line chat with MMFY in February 2008. That was a year ago, only a few short weeks after MMFY opened and before all this drama happened. Whatever 10:16am issues are with TC, it was before any of us had any idea that so much drama would unfold on MMFY.
